Elämys: REDRIB Archipelago Experience

We head for the archipelago on the east side from Helsinki. You get to experience the variety of the over 170.000 islands we have and see how close the nature is to the city.

In narrow passages between then islands we drive slowly not to disturb to summer guest. This is a good opportunity for your driver and host to give you information about the summer life in the cottages, nature and wildlife.

On the way out to an recreational island we make several stops. First outside the beautiful island of Villinki with its unique channel that goes deep into the island surrounded by cliffs and summer villas.

Also a stop outside a private island with its summer cottage and beach sauna is along the route.

In the outskirts of the archipelago, we now reach our recreational island, were we park and go ashore. Here we can explore the island on a short walking tour where you hear all about the flora and fauna, which berries and mushrooms grows here and which animals you can see.

On the island there is an optional public genuine sauna open for anybody to use according to our unique every man's right. If you want, you can experience a real archipelago sauna bath here, swimming in the sea included! Just remember to bring your swimming suit and towel. Sauna availability can not be guaranteed.

You don´t have to use the sauna though if you hesitate, a glimpse inside is maybe enough?

On the island we leave you enough time also to enjoy the scenery, take a short exploring walk or simply to sit on the smooth cliffs for a while and just listen to the sound of silence. Or why not try the sauna after all! A light island snack lunch is included in the island break.

After the relaxing stop on the island we start our 1h drive back to the city.

We take an alternative inner route back, or if you want, we choose a speed tour the outer route on open sea insted! A true adventure to remember!
