Yin jooga pohjautuu kiinalaisiin kehonharjoituksiin ja joogaan. Yin jooga –liikkeet vaikuttavat kehossa alueisiin, joissa on eniten sidekudosta. Vaikutus kohdistuu vahvasti selkärankaan, selän lihaksiin ja lantion seutuun.

Lisäksi tunnilla tehtävät liikkeet venyttävät ihanasti käsien ja jalkojen lihaksia. Asennoissa ollaan yhdestä viiteen minuuttia ja harjoitus keskittyy vahvasti irti päästämiseen – niin kehon kuin mielenkin osalta. Yin joogan avaava ja rentouttava harjoitus tukee hyvin kaikkea
muuta fyysistä liikuntaa ja auttaa kehoa palautumaan.
