Description
Veikkolan kartanon kotitaidenäyttely INSPIRAATION LÄHTEILLÄ on rakentunut eri vuosisatojen ja sukupolvien saatossa. Se koostuu maalauksista, piirustuksista, valokuvista ja veistoksista sekä ennen kaikkea elävästi kerrotusta tarinasta.
Kotitaidenäyttely tekee tunnetuksi Vihdin varsin rikasta mutta vähemmän tunnettua taidehistoriaa. Vihdissä vaikuttaneet taiteilijat esitellään teoksin ja tarinoin, sanoin ja kuvin. Joukossa ovat maamme eturivin taiteilijoista muun muassa Helene Schjerfbeck ja Venny Soldan-Brofeldt.
Taiteen lisäksi kotitaidenäyttelyn luonteeseen kuuluu, että esillä on paljon muutakin esineistöä, kuten huonekaluja, valaisimia, mattoja, lasia ja keramiikkaa.
Vierailu on opastettu ja ajankohta on siksi aina sovittava erikseen, samoin mahdollinen tarjoilu. Ryhmällä ei ole minimikokoa. Hinta on per henkilö. Opastus voidaan toteuttaa suomeksi, ruotsiksi, englanniksi ja saksaksi.
