Try how it feels floating around in the water staying completely warm and dry. This experience is available during the whole year around. Lying on top of the water you can completely relax or even have your daily nap. Just float around or walk on ice rafts (during the winter time when there is ice) if you are in a sporty mood. All supervised by our professional instructors. Close your eyes, breathe and listen to the sound of silence. And this in central Helsinki! You can come as you are in normal seasonal street wear.
This activity is always done in natural conditions and in the water.
In open water season we focus on the rescue at sea, relaxation and also survival techniques.
In ice conditions we focus on ice behavior, its effects and relaxation.
For the float you will wear a neoprene survival suit covering the whole body, hands and feet included. In this suit you will stay warm and dry during the whole float. You will not feel the water or the cold. You will enter the water with our instructor. This is the perfect way to push your own limits and get familiar with the water as an element supervised with our safety instructors. No prior floating or swimming experience is needed.
Once in the the water, you will first get familiar with the element by trusting the suit, our instructors and yourself. When you reach the feeling of confidence and control in the water, you start to benefit from the weightless and safe feeling the suit provides. Breathe, relax and enjoy.
The time you stay in the water is individual. From 15 min up to 1 hour, according to your own preferences. Our supervisor will guide you all the way making it a memorable experience. The location is weather dependent and will be informed to each booking well in advance if changed.
